Good app but too many problems with data availability and subscription
Good app but too many problems with data availability and subscription
Everything is slow and the app is unresponsive most of the time. Annoying pop ups for TAF purchases.
Slow and cheap.
The downside is the way they implemented purchases for TAF reports. There is no way to know how much they want to charge you without turning on in-app purchases (Ill never do that for ANY app). They should sell a pro version with TAF direct from the apple store and ditch in app purchase model. The metar is great and the surface winds etc are super. Fix the selling method and itd be a 5 star.
This is one of the best aviation weather apps out there . The new update also features wind aloft, cloud layers freezing levels . Great Canadian coverage too .
5 stars for the idea and 2 stars for performance. Would be a great program if it would work consistently but its buggy. Also thought the TAF addition was a one time purchase but turns out its an annual subscription.
I ohnestly recomend as one of the best Ive seen
I dont find this app very useful for the subscription cost. Consider that all of the data you are accessing is free on many other sites so Im just paying for ease of use / presentation. I would rather pay for ForeFlight. To me, this app should cost 1.99 or less and thats it.
On an iPhone 4, the app is slow and uses google maps as a base layer. TAF coverage is an in-app purchase. There are others that are better.
Really nice app. Worth 3-4 dollars. Love the world-wide coverage. No app out their fills this niche, and for free, too good. I would like to see temp added as one of the displayed variables. Keep up the good work. If anybody finds a better app, list it. Oth
Jeez ... ya ever watch paint dry? Somebody dosent know how to code software ...
Good interface, but so slow that it is unusable.
THe interface is great looking and I had high hopes. However, there are a lot of missing airports (the smaller ones) and since Im a private pilot, those are the ones I really need. There does not appear to be a way for me to add airports to the database either
App is due for an update as it has been a while. Over all good app would love to see radar over lay. How about forecasted icing or thunderstorms like the HEMS site does? a little faster loading of the TAF would be helpful.
For the price (free) it cant be beat.
Have to pay just to get TAF, no thanks.
Good app for pilots who want stuff fast and easy. Should still have the type of flight recommended though. (vfr, ifr, etc.)
Pay for TAF? I think not...
Best weather app for quick weather!
You have to pay to use it...on a yearly subscription...after the first two weeks. And even free trial, you have to pay to see TAFs. All of this is included with whatever in flight aviation app you currently subscribe to (I.e. ForeFlight). I was just hoping for a small, light version to use when not flying. But Im certainly not paying $30 for the first year for this. Besides, the app takes forever to load. I can search the web and get the local metars from ADDS before this finishes loading. Deleted.
